Our Story
The owners, Henny & Bert de Boer are Dutch, and besides French and Dutch they speak English fluently. Located in the charming village of Mons La Trivalle in the south of France, Manoir la Trivalle opened its doors in 2001.
The five rooms and the gîte / apartment are surrounded by the natural regional parc of the Haut-Languedoc and amazing sceneries. Green mountains, hillside vineyards and wonderful views of the Orb and Jaur rivers will surprise you regularly while hiking and discovering the region.
The rooms and the apartment are 100 meters away from the village center, where you will find a bakery, a bar and restaurant, a little grocery shop, a tourist information office, and a market with local products twice a week.
You will be on a walk-distance from the gorges d’héric, a wonderful place to go for a swim in the cristal-clear waters or a walk.
Thanks to the Mediterranean climate, Manoir La Trivalle is open all year round.
Surroundings of Mons la Trivalle
The Manoir is located in the charming village of Mons la Trivalle in the national regional parc of the Haut-Languedoc in the Hérault, South of France.
The surroundings offer countless possibilities. Thanks to its geographic situation between mountain and sea, you will be able to choose between land activities (such as hiking, biking, climbing, speleology, and even golf) or water activities (such as swimming, canoe or kayak, canyoning, or a day at sea). Each village and town have their own excellent restaurants with typically french mediterranean food. Pézenas, and Beziers are two historic towns with interesting history, while Roquebrun and Saint-Chinian will give you the opportunity to taste the region’s best wines.
